First, let's try getting a live price quote
The Blip API currently takes into account live traffic data & driver demand to generate a price. All logic is handled in our backend, including saving a price for a period of time before a request can be generated. Please note however, after ~10 mins, the price is not guaranteed to stay the same, and may increase.
Now, let's make a delivery request
From the moment a delivery request is placed, every Blip driver in a 6km radius is notified. The nearest, and quickest driver to react is assigned the delivery, and begins driving to your pickup location.
We also make use of an orderNumber and an appID. These help ensure uniqueness, and allow for easy querying when attempting to retrieve delivery information from our servers.
Let's check the status of a delivery
In the code above, a response was generated with a deliveryID. This deliveryID can be used to retrieve information about the delivery such as ETA's, Courier information, and more.
