Creating your first Shopify delivery request
If you've not already setup the plugin, click here to configure Blip. After doing so, we're going to try and generate our first delivery request
To get started, navigiate to the Shopify admin panel, and click Orders on the left menu. By default, deliveries are not automated. You'll have to manually make a request to our servers after an order comes in. I've ordered a T-shirt on my demo site, so let's checkout the order page for that particular order
Click More actions as seen above, and click on Blip.delivery
You're now heading to the Blip.delivery order page from where a request will be generated to create a delivery request
Make sure that every field has been filled. Pickup instructions are blank here because I did not specify instructions when configuring Blip. After adding pickup instructions, click on Request Delivery, and the request will be generated.
Congratulations, you've now made your first same-day delivery request!
Now the final part is to track your orders. Clicking on an order and navigating to More actions -> Blip.delivery, yields a screen like the one below. You'll see pickup times, courier information, ETA's and all that good stuff. Maps are the only thing we dont currently support, but we're going to include that too in a later update :)
You're now ready to go live! If you wish to do so, please notify Blip beforehand. We just want to make sure everything is good to go before you're ready to deliver the products.
